Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Fylde Coast Rotation. You will work within a variety of teams across Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre, with 12-month placements in each team and a mix of hospital, community and home settings.

The successful candidate will manage caseloads, perform patient assessments, and support staff while contributing to local OT developments under senior supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy required and ongoing HCPC registration.
• Experience with occupational therapy processes and team working.
• Understanding of professional ethics and risk assessment principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine OT interventions to maintain, restore or create functional ability in self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Carry caseloads across hospital, community and home environments.
• Supervise support staff and contribute to local OT service developments.
