Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist in a rotational role across QMC, City Hospital and NRC sites. You will assess and treat patients to facilitate discharge and rehabilitation while developing core competencies within a supportive team.

The rotation covers medicine, neurology and MSK in an acute hospital setting, with a structured preceptorship for new graduates and opportunities for CPD and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have HCPC registration and be eligible to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in an acute hospital setting is advantageous.
• Band 5 rotational role across multiple sites with preceptorship.

Responsibilities

• Undertake OT assessment & interventions to facilitate discharge and support rehabilitation
• Day-to-day management of caseload with time management and prioritisation
• Effective communication with patients, carers and staff
• Contribute to OT & MDT working
• Comply with NUH policies & procedures
• Participate in CPD, supervision and appraisal process
• Adhere to Royal College of OT Professional Standards
