Job summary

Assystem, a global energy transition leader, offers a two-year Graduate Programme in data engineering, analytics and digital delivery. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol with flexibility for location changes and relocation support.

You will rotate across teams and contribute to data pipelines, dashboards and governance for major infrastructure and nuclear projects. You will develop skills under mentors, participate in structured learning, and gain exposure to regulated environments, with BPSS

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or similar.
• Strong interest in data engineering and analytics within engineering environments.
• Understanding of data structures, databases and reporting principles.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate or travel within the UK.
• Eligibility for BPSS clearance and UK sole nationality.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across teams and projects to broaden industry exposure.
• Support the development and maintenance of engineering data pipelines and integrations.
• Assist with data collection, cleansing, validation and transformation activities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and analytics products to support project decision making.
• Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives and information governance activities.
• Work with mentors and technical experts to develop data engineering and analytics skills.
• Participate in Graduate Forums and peer learning sessions.
• Support the implementation of digital and data platforms across engineering functions.
• Contribute to process improvement and evidence-based decision making through data insights.
• Develop an understanding of engineering data management within regulated environments.
