Job summary

Assystem GmbH in Bristol is seeking a Plant Integration data engineer to shape the Power Plant design through data models and change control, underpinning the project schedule.

You will develop PowerBI dashboards using Databricks data, with SQL and Python, and coordinate with IT, IIM and IDA stakeholders. Hybrid onsite and remote work is available.

This role requires proactive collaboration, clear communication, ownership of data processes, and a commitment to nuclear safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant science or engineering subject or strong technical background.
• Experience in software development, data engineering or data visualisation.
• Understanding of quality arrangements required and associated with nuclear plant construction preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Data model development for change control branch.
• Development of PowerBI dashboards drawing on databricks conformed data model.
• Align business requirements, logic implemented in data model and reporting outputs.
• Interface with wider IT, IIM, IDA stakeholders.
• Databricks development in SQL and Python.
• Support upskilling of team and adoption of more data-centric ways of working.
