We are seeking an innovative, motivated individual who values MDT working and is keen to develop within a growing department. This Band 5 dietitian position primarily involves working with inpatients in elderly care, trauma and orthopaedics, or general medicine. There are also additional clinical attachment opportunities across surgery, stroke, medicine, gastroenterology, and oncology, along with a community rotation working with patients with various medical conditions on oral and enteral feeding pathways. All Band 5 roles include an outpatient component and are supported by senior staff and peers.
Joining our service now offers significant opportunities, especially with our upcoming move to the new Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital, which will open further development pathways.
This role provides broad experience through dietetic attachments, allowing you to expand your knowledge and passion across diverse working environments. We offer six-month attachments, with options in both acute and community settings, tailored to your professional needs and interests. Our attachments align with the BDA preceptorship framework, emphasizing professional development and peer support. Our team is friendly, supportive, and committed to your growth, providing internal and external training, including access to the Black Country preceptorship program for newly qualified professionals.
