An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various settings, providing essential dietetic services to both adult and pediatric patients. The Band 5 rotational role provides experience in a variety of settings across UHCW and may be placed within any of the services supported by UHCW Dietitians. Provides a professional dietetic service for adults and paediatrics, across a range of general medical and surgical inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and the community at UHCW.
Assesses and treats own workload of patients/clients and maintains associated records, with support as necessary from Senior colleagues. Liaises with dietetic colleagues and other members of hospital staff as necessary e.g. medical, nursing, catering and other health professionals.
To work autonomously to provide dietetic advice to adult and paediatric patients, their carers and staff with a range of medical conditions within in-patient, out-patient, and community settings within agreed protocols and guidelines and with support from senior colleagues when necessary, including:
To be clinically competent to give dietetic advice, treatment, and dietary counselling to patients in a variety of conditions across different settings.
