Job summary

Marshalls plc in Burton upon Trent is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a close-knit team on 3-week rotating days and nights. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and rapid breakdown responses to ensure production runs smoothly.

You will work on process equipment across the Burton site, applying core mechanical skills, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with SAP-PM experience valued to optimise maintenance activity.

Qualifications

• Maintenance fitter in a manufacturing environment with hands-on approach.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics and core mechanical workshop skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret maintenance problems and provide plant condition info.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response on process equipment.
• Maintain equipment effectively and carry out repairs safely.
• Support production and assistance to CI projects.
