Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Rotating Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Swift Referrals on a 12 month contract. This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, across three days with a weekend rota.

You will deliver advanced nursing care in a state‑of‑the‑art referral hospital, supporting surgical cases, internal medicine and imaging, with flexible hours and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Significant experience in clinical practice with advanced nursing skills relevant to your discipline
• Experience working with surgical cases in a referral or advanced-care setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care to complex referral cases across surgery, internal medicine, and wards.
• Support clinical decision‑making and share knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist with imaging, theatre preparation, anaesthesia monitoring, and ICU care.
• Provide care throughout the patient journey from admission to discharge.
• Be flexible and collaborate across disciplines, including emergencies.
