Job summary

Edwards & Pearce Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join a major UK refining operation. You’ll help improve reliability, support ongoing plant performance, and contribute to continuous improvements across a 24/7 facility.

You’ll work with a seasoned engineering team to influence reliability projects and provide technical support to refinery operations. You will be responsible for applying your specialist knowledge to optimise repairs, equipment enhancements and capital

Qualifications

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Chartered status or working towards Chartered status.
Experience in rotating equipment within a refinery environment.
Strong safety awareness and good IT literacy.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operation and long-term reliability of refinery assets.
Provide technical support to operations and capital projects.
Propose improvements to increase operational availability and equipment performance.
Lead reliability improvements and oversee equipment upgrades during shutdowns.
