Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver construction and infrastructure projects at Rosyth, working with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient delivery across the full project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on site coordination, adherence to CDM and health & safety standards, and close collaboration with customers while supporting national defence-related programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong contractor management and site coordination.
• Solid health and safety knowledge, CDM 2015.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through to handover.
• Experience using project management tools to manage budgets, schedules and risk.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating contractors and site activities within a live operational environment, resolving challenges and maintaining progress.
• Managing projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and procurement to site delivery and handover.
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets and risks to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and CDM regulations through inspections, reviews and robust project controls.
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing regular communication throughout project delivery.
