Job summary

Babcock at Rosyth is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership across ship outfitting activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery within a major defence programme.

You will lead and develop large operational teams, manage budgets and resources, and collaborate with engineering, project, supply chain and subcontractors to maximise productivity and quality. This full-time role is based on site at Rosyth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large operational teams in complex environments (engineering, manufacturing, marine or defence).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop supervisors, managers and teams to meet programme objectives.
• Drive safe, compliant delivery of ship outfitting, testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage performance, resources, budgets, forecasts and delivery risks to hit milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, supply chain and subcontractors to maximise productivity and quality.
• Champion safety and continuous improvement across the programme.
