Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Project Engineer at our Rosyth site to deliver construction and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient delivery across the full project lifecycle.

This role offers exposure to technical, commercial and project management aspects within national defence programmes, with on-site work, 37 hours per week, and opportunities to shape UK defence infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects in engineering, industrial or facilities environments.
• Strong contractor management and site coordination experience.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation, CDM 2015.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Experience using project management tools to manage budgets, schedules and risk.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors and site activities within a live operational environment.
• Manage projects through full lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and risks to ensure delivery outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and CDM regulations through inspections.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders and communicate progress.
