Job summary

Cherubs Nurseries is seeking a Room Manager to lead a room/unit, modelling high standards and coaching Apprentices and Qualified Early Years Educators to deliver our ambitious curriculum.

You will balance the needs of children, parents, your team and the business, driving smooth daily operations, overseeing planning, records, communications and the key person system, and taking on a designated role within the nursery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee room routines and planning, ensuring standards are embedded daily.
• Coach Apprentices and Qualified Early Years Educators to deliver the curriculum.
• Manage child profiles, parent communication and record keeping within the Nursery App.
• Maintain the Key Person system and ensure smooth transitions between cohorts and rooms.
• Lead handovers and coordinate daily tasks with the team.
