Job summary

Kindred Nurseries is seeking a Room Leader to guide a dedicated room team in delivering high-quality Early Years care and education. You will model best practice, support colleagues, and build strong relationships with children and families in a safe, inclusive setting.

You will plan engaging learning experiences, maintain accurate records, and ensure safeguarding and EYFS compliance while driving continuous improvement with the Nursery Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to motivate, support and develop others.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your room team to deliver outstanding Early Years care and education.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Model best practice in line with the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and Kindred's values.
• Support, coach and develop Early Years Practitioners and Apprentices within your room.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support every child's development.
• Maintain accurate observations, assessments and children's records.
• Support inductions and help new colleagues settle into the Kindred family.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
• Work closely with the Nursery Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement across the nursery.
• Demonstrate Kindred's values in everything you do.
