Compensation: £30,514 - £33,280 / year

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone plays as a team and can achieve their full potential, promoting the N Family Club culture and values.
2. Overall responsibility for the delivery of our 'learning through play’ educational ethos and the N Curriculum within your room.
3. Be responsible for the pattern of the daily routine, managing sufficient ratios and rotas within the room.
4. Model outstanding care and education.
5. Support your team in delivering high-quality observations, assessments and planning for the children within your care.
6. Support your team in creating outstanding environments and practice each day, both indoors and outdoors.
7. Drive a continuous improvement culture.
8. Ensure key transition periods within the room such as sleep times, mealtimes and outings are managed sensitively.
9. Lead and support the team to adhere to all policies and procedures.
10. Work with your team to administer outstanding learning experiences within the room.
11. Lead daily team meetings and provide regular feedback to get the most out of your team.
12. Promote professional development through coaching, guidance, and learning opportunities.
13. Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents.
14. Promote safeguarding procedures and child welfare.
15. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and health and safety.
16. Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are embedded within the room.
17. Champion and lead the behavioural safety framework.
18. Respect and value all team members, children, and parents, fostering a positive, diverse environment.
19. Work flexibly within nursery hours (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) and attend out-of-hours meetings as needed.
20. Adhere to the company's H&S policy and lead by example in educational excellence.
