Job summary

Kindred Nurseries invites applications for a Room Leader to guide your room team, delivering outstanding Early Years care and education in a warm, nurturing environment. You will coach staff, develop practitioners, maintain accurate observations and records, and ensure EYFS and safeguarding compliance while building strong relationships with children and families.

A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above), recent Early Years experience, and current Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education.
• The ability to motivate, support and develop others.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Desirable: previous experience leading a room or small team.
• Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Safeguarding and Child Protection training (full training provided).
• Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Support inductions and help new colleagues settle into the Kindred family.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed at all times.
• Work closely with the Nursery Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement across the nursery.
• Demonstrate Kindred's values in everything you do.

Job description
