Job summary

Wembley Park Montessori is seeking an experienced Room Leader to manage a nursery room, lead a team, and support children’s development in a nurturing setting. The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification and strong EYFS knowledge, with emphasis on safeguarding and collaboration with families.

You will plan engaging activities, observe progress, and maintain learning records while ensuring a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience leading a nursery room or senior practitioner role.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of allocated nursery room.
• Support and guide Early Years practitioners within the team.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children's needs.
• Observe and assess children's progress and development.
• Support emotional, social, and educational development.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain accurate records and learning frameworks.
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety requirements are followed.
