Job summary

YMCA Black Country Group's Small Street Day Nursery in Walsall is seeking a Full-Time Room Leader to cover a job share in the toddler room (2-3 years). You will help provide a warm, welcoming environment where children and families feel valued and supported.

You will lead the room daily, work with the Childcare Manager and Senior Nursery Manager to ensure best practice, and contribute to safeguarding and ongoing professional development for the team.

Qualifications

• Provide high quality education and care for children from birth to 5 years.
• Lead within the Nursery Senior Team to set a positive example and support staff.
• Safeguarding commitments include enhanced DBS checks and references.

Full-Time Room Leader to complete a job share within our toddler room (2-3years) based at the YMCA BCG Small Street Day Nursery in Walsall. You will help to provide a warm and welcoming environment within the Nursery where young children and their families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing and maintaining high quality education and care for children from birth to 5 years.
• Providing a warm and welcoming environment within the Nursery where young children and their families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support.
• Being part of the Nursery Senior Team you will provide leadership within the room on a daily basis. Setting a positive example to childcare practitioners, and working closely with the Childcare Manager and Senior Nursery Manager to ensure good practice.
