Job summary

A dynamic nursery in Sutton (Allscreens Nationwide Ltd) is hiring a Level 3 Early Years qualified Room Leader to oversee daily room operations and deliver high-quality EYFS education. You will lead a caring team, plan engaging activities, and ensure safeguarding and development milestones are met.

Ideal candidates will have Room Leader or Senior Practitioner experience, strong EYFS knowledge, excellent communication, and a nurturing approach to support children's learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• EYFS Level 3 qualification required.
• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room.
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Mentor and support teammates within the room.
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

£32,000 - £34,000 per annum | 40 hours per week | Level 3 Early Years Qualification Required

The nursery has been thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, fun, and nurturing atmosphere where children are encouraged to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Carefully planned learning spaces support every stage of development, while the outdoor environment offers endless opportunities for exploration, adventure, and imaginative play.

This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate Level 3 early years professional who enjoys leading a room, supporting colleagues, and creating engaging experiences that help children reach their full potential

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner - desirable
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A nurturing and child-centred approach
• Passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
