Job summary

Willing Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 Room Leader for a well-established nursery. Up to £29,500 per annum, 40 hours per week, in a setting that delivers high-quality early years education and care.

You will lead the day-to-day operations of your room, deliver EYFS-aligned care, mentor colleagues, and build strong relationships with children and families in a supportive, award-winning nursery group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience as Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring colleagues.
• Nurturing, child-centred approach to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room.
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences and activities.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times.
