Job summary

Bright Horizons Trafford is seeking a Room Leader to lead and inspire a team, ensuring exceptional care and education for children in the room.

You will promote welfare and safety, maintain safeguarding standards, and work closely with parents and professionals to meet each child’s needs. The role requires level 3+ EYFS qualifications and experience in early years settings.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in Early Years setting, ideally in a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or similar.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education in the room.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety and safeguarding across the setting.
• Maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.
