Job Title: Room Leader

Location: SE10 (nearest station: Westcombe Park, 10-15 minute walk)

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per year

Hours: Flexible, part-time or full-time options available

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan, create, and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs to encourage development towards key milestones.
2. Observe, track, and reflect on children's learning progress.
3. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
4. Ensure child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding policies are always followed.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, safe, and happy environment daily.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• 1-2 years' experience as a nursery nurse or room leader
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
• Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents
• Effective communication skills with children and adults
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
