Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) in Eastleigh, UK, to lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room, ensuring ratios and compliance with regulations.

You will oversee planning and assessment, maintain accurate learning records, act as Key Person, and support a small team of practitioners while safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience as Nursery Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and assessments
• Confidence supervising staff and overseeing daily room operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery room to meet ratios and compliance
• Oversee planning and assessment, maintain learning records
• Act as Key Person for a group of children while supporting team members
• Monitor safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS standards within the room
• Provide guidance and informal supervision to practitioners
• Build relationships with parents and share progress updates

Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)

40 Hours per Week

Salary: Up to £28,200

We’re looking for an experienced Level 3 early years professional who is ready to take responsibility for standards, people, and outcomes.

What You’ll Need

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working as a Nursery Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and assessment requirements
• Confidence supervising staff and overseeing daily room operations

• Paediatric First Aid certification
