Job summary

Muddy Boots Nursery is seeking an experienced and qualified Room Leader to join our leadership team. The role is ideal for someone progressing from a Deputy Room Leader position within an early years setting.

You will lead a team to ensure high-quality, nature-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and independence for every child in your room.

Qualifications

• Qualified Room Leader required
• Experience leading a team in an early years setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Early Years Educators in your room with support from Deputy Room Leader
• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities with a focus on outdoor play and exploration
• Observe, assess and support children's learning journeys
• Act as a key person and build strong relationships with families
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a positive, supportive team
• Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting welfare of children in care

We're now looking for an experienced and qualified Room Leader to work as part of the leadership team, within our nursery. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress from a Deputy Room Leader role or similar level within an early years setting.

About the role

As a Room Leader at Muddy Boots, you will help to lead a team to ensure that all children receive high-quality, nature-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Early Years Educators in your room, with support from the Deputy Room Leader
• Planning and delivering engaging learning activities, with a strong focus on outdoor play and exploration
• Observing, assessing and supporting children's individual learning journeys
• Acting as a key person and building strong, trusting relationships with families
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Working collaboratively as part of a positive, supportive team
• Taking responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in your care
