Job summary

Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery is recruiting for a Room Leader to guide and support a team in delivering high-quality care and education for all children in the room. The role focuses on safeguarding, welfare, and collaboration with parents and colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher and have prior EY settings experience. DBS checks are a part of safer recruitment, with opportunities for development and a complete benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience within an Early Years setting, ideally as Room Leader, Nursery Nurse or similar.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding across the room.
• Maintain strong partnerships with parents and professionals to support each child’s needs.
