Job summary

Grandir UK Limited operates Pippa’s House Day Nursery in Claygate and is seeking a caring Room Leader to lead a team and nurture children's development within a warm, supportive environment.

You will promote high quality practice, coordinate playroom duties, and ensure EYFS standards are met while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Caring and enthusiastic candidate with ability to support and inspire children.
• Experience in early years settings and EYFS knowledge.
• Able to supervise and develop playroom staff and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
• Support and supervise playroom staff with day-to-day duties.
• Deploy staff to meet required standards in rooms.
• Ensure EYFS requirements are implemented.
• Provide feedback to parents and carers about their child.

What You Will Be Doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
