Job summary

Kids Planet Burgess Hill is hiring a Room Leader on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will lead and manage a room, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, and support a caring team of early years professionals.

We welcome applicants with at least Level 3 in a UK early years qualification, a strong safeguarding knowledge, and a passion for helping children thrive. Competitive benefits and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• By leading and managing a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Through supporting and guiding the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Through building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child's individual needs are met and their learning is supported.
