Job summary

Mama Bear’s Day Nursery in Downend, near Stanbridge Primary School, is seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to join our friendly team. You will inspire children, support your team and model outstanding practice, creating a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive and safeguarding, education standards are maintained.

The role requires Level 3 EYFS qualification, strong EYFS understanding, and 2+ years’ experience in early years.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (EYFS) required.
• At least 2 years' experience in an early years setting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor room staff to deliver high-quality early years care.

Job description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly team in Downend. Our beautiful nursery is located next to Stanbridge Primary School. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing the highest standard of care in a warm, nurturing environment. As Room Leader, you’ll inspire children, support your team and model outstanding practice. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive and ensure high standards of care, education and safeguarding at all times.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Strong understanding of the EYFS
• 2+ years’ experience in an early years setting
• Confident communicator with great leadership skills
• This role is 40 hours per week, although we are happy to consider 32 hours per week
