Job summary

Mama Bear’s Day Nursery Limited in Downend is seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to inspire children and support the team in a warm, nurturing environment. You will model outstanding practice and contribute to safeguarding whilst maintaining high standards of education and care.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification, strong EYFS knowledge and 2+ years in a nursery, with 40 hours per week (part-time considered for qualified practitioners).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly team in Downend . Our beautiful nursery is located next to Stanbridge Primary School. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing the highest standard of care in a warm, nurturing environment.

As Room Leader, you’ll inspire children, support your team and model outstanding practice. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive and ensure high standards of care, education and safeguarding at all times.

What we’re looking for:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Strong understanding of the EYFS
• 2+ years’ experience in an early years setting
• Confident communicator with great leadership skills
• This role is 40 hours per week, although we are happy to consider part time applications from qualified practitioners.
