Job summary

Kids Planet Nook Barn is seeking a Room Leader to lead a nursery room, delivering high-quality care and education in line with EYFS. You will support a dedicated team, foster a collaborative environment, and build strong relationships with children and families to meet individual learning needs.

The role requires at least Level 3 in a UK early years qualification, a strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and leadership experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met and learning is supported.
