Sopwell House in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, is seeking a Room Attendant to join our five-star housekeeping team. You will ensure immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms, restock amenities, and respond to guest requests with warmth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning/housekeeping or similar role.
• Good level of English (written and spoken).

• Able to work flexible shifts between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm.
• Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain and replenish linens and amenities; assist with deep-cleaning as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to ensure a seamless stay.
• Take ownership of assigned rooms and service them efficiently to the highest standards.
• Support the housekeeping operation as required to uphold overall quality.

Your role in our family:

• Deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation within guest bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring every space is perfectly prepared to welcome our guests
• Take pride in being part of our dedicated Housekeeping team, where attention to detail, consistency, and teamwork define everything we do
• Take ownership of assigned rooms, ensuring they are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards at all times
• Support the wider housekeeping operation by replenishing linens and amenities, maintaining stock levels, and assisting with deep-cleaning tasks when required
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, helping to create a seamless and memorable stay

• Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or similar role, with a strong eye for detail.
• A good level of English, both written and spoken, to communicate confidently with guests and colleagues.
• A naturally approachable and friendly manner – you enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming environment.
• A true team player attitude, supporting and uplifting those around you.
• The ability to work flexibly, with shifts scheduled between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm.
