Job summary

THE PIG-in the Cotswolds is hiring an Evening Housekeeping Turn Down Assistant to prepare guest rooms for a restful night. You’ll perform turn down service to our high standards, refresh bedrooms and bathrooms, and restock amenities while maintaining pristine presentation.

This role is 12 hours per week across 3 evenings at the Barnsley location. Training is provided, a positive attitude and eye for detail are essential to thrive in our team and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Salary: OTE £14.10 per hour, inclusive of tronc.

Evening Housekeeping Turn Down Assistant - Help Create Those Special Finishing Touches.

At THE PIG, it's often the little details that make the biggest difference. We're looking for a warm, attentive and reliable Turn Down Assistant to join our Housekeeping team and help create a welcoming, luxurious experience for our guests each evening.

This is the perfect role for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and enjoys creating beautiful spaces that make guests feel truly at home.

What You'll Be Doing

Working during the evening service period, you'll prepare guest bedrooms for a comfortable night's stay by:

• Completing turn down service to THE PIG's high standards.
• Refreshing bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Replenishing amenities, towels and guest supplies.
• Ensuring rooms are immaculate, inviting and ready for guests to relax in.
• Supporting the wider Housekeeping team where needed.
• Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.

What We're Looking For

• A positive and friendly attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
