Job summary

AO is expanding into residential solar installations and seeks experienced Scaffolders to deliver safe access solutions for customers across the UK. You will erect, adapt and dismantle domestic scaffolding on occupied properties, liaising with the Solar Installation Teams to ensure safety, compliance and smooth progress on each job.

You’ll start from a local depot, work with colleagues, maintain a clean, professional site, and provide excellent customer service while representing the AO brand in

Qualifications

• CISRS Scaffolder Blue Card is required.
• Proven scaffolding experience on residential projects.
• Experience erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and working at height.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Positive attitude and strong team ethic.

Responsibilities

• Erect, adapt and dismantle domestic scaffolding on residential properties.
• Install temporary roof edge protection and safe access platforms.
• Work closely with Solar Installation Teams to meet job requirements.
• Load/unload scaffold equipment and keep vehicles organized.
• Perform pre-work safety checks and identify site hazards.
• Inspect scaffold structures for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean and professional working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service while working at occupied homes.
• Work efficiently to meet installation schedules without compromising safety.
• Support colleagues to ensure jobs are completed right first time.
