Job summary

AO is expanding its residential solar installation team and seeks experienced scaffolders to deliver safe access solutions across the UK. The role involves erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds at customers' homes, coordinating with Solar Teams, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will start from a local depot, travel with a crew, complete installations, and return to dismantle. A strong customer-service mindset and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• CISRS Blue Card required or equivalent qualification.
• Proven scaffolding experience on residential properties.
• Experience erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds.
• Strong commitment to safe working practices at height.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Erect, adapt and dismantle domestic scaffolding on residential properties.
• Install temporary roof edge protection and safe access platforms.
• Collaborate with Solar Installation Teams to meet job requirements.
• Load/unload scaffold equipment and keep vehicles organized.
• Perform pre-work safety checks and identify site hazards.
• Inspect scaffolds for compliance with regs and standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional working environment.
• Provide courteous customer service at occupied homes.
• Work efficiently to meet installation schedules without compromising safety.
• Support team to ensure jobs are completed right first time.
