Job summary

AO.com is expanding into residential solar installations and seeks experienced Scaffolders in Coventry to deliver safe access solutions for customers across the UK.

In this role you will erect, adapt and dismantle domestic scaffolding for rooftop solar installs, ensuring safety, compliance and professional customer service in occupied homes. A valid CISRS Blue Card and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• CISRS Blue Card held with valid certification.
• Proven scaffolding experience on domestic properties.
• Experience erecting and dismantling domestic scaffolds.
• Full UK driving licence and good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Erect, adapt and dismantle domestic scaffolding on residential properties.
• Install temporary roof edge protection and safe access platforms.
• Work with Solar Installation Teams to meet job requirements.
• Load/unload equipment and keep vehicles organized and stocked.
• Perform pre-work safety checks and identify hazards.
• Inspect scaffolding for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service at occupied homes.
• Work efficiently to meet installation schedules without compromising safety.
• Support team to ensure first-time right completion.
