Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates in London is seeking Roofing Labourers/Improvers and Roofing Juniors to join a well-established team. You will perform roofing maintenance, repairs and refurbishments across London, with training and progression potentially on offer.

A full clean driving licence is required, and candidates aged 25 or over meet insurance requirements. Compensation is around £32,000–£38,000 per year with PAYE or CIS options; overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out roof maintenance and refurbishment projects, from small repair jobs to full roof replacements.
• Undertaking roofing repairs and replacements

• Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients
• Completing required paperwork to a high standard
• Working in line with health and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional presentation and keeping the company van clean and well maintained

The Role

Whether you're an experienced roofer or looking to develop your skills as a labourer, improver or junior, this could be the opportunity for you.

The successful candidates will carry out general roofing repairs and replacements across London. Salary is approximately £35,000 PAYE or £140 CIS, with overtime available if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out roof maintenance and refurbishment projects, from small repair jobs to full roof replacements
• Undertaking roofing repairs and replacements
• Carrying out other building maintenance as appropriate
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients
• Completing required paperwork to a high standard
• Working in line with health and safety guidelines

Requirements

Essential

• A full, clean driving licence
• Must be aged 25 or over to meet the company's vehicle insurance requirements

Desirable

Ideally, experience in:

• Felt and battening
• Tiling and slating
• New roof installations, including three-layer torch-on felt
• Stripping and retiling old roofs
• Roof maintenance
• Leadwork
• Finding and repairing leaks
• Widopan, Restec or glassfibre roofing systems
