Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair tasks across domestic properties, including guttering and minor roofing, in support of a Roofer
• Support multiple trades (joinery, tiling, painting, basic plumbing)
• Work to specifications and health & safety requirements
• Collaborate with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines
• Record work activity and complete required documentation
• Support team performance and maintain high customer service standards
• Structured schedule of repairs and maintenance; travel in company van; work solo or with a team; engage with customers; complete work efficiently while ensuring quality and compliance

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out a range of general repair tasks across domestic properties both internally and externally including guttering and other minor roofing works in support of a qualified Roofer.
• Supporting multiple trades including joinery, tiling, painting, and basic plumbing
• Working to specifications and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
• Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers, and wider teams to meet deadlines
• Recording work activity and completing required documentation
• Supporting team performance and maintaining strong customer service standards

What your day looks like

• A structured schedule covering repairs and maintenance work
• Travelling between jobs in your company van
• Working independently or with a team of other tradespeople
• Engaging directly with Customers in their homes
• Completing work efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standards
• Supporting the Roofer in their works on our properties

Where you'll work

You will be working across:

• Occupied homes
• Empty (void) properties
• A range of domestic properties within your local area
• Environments involving vulnerable Customers

Essential Criteria (you need to meet all of these to be shortlisted)

• Experience working as a Labourer, ideally within social housing or domestic properties
• Full UK driving licence
• Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be based within the PE postcode

Nice to have (not essential)

• Experience working across multiple trades such as joinery, tiling, or plumbing
• Additional trade qualifications
