Job summary

NSS Group is a national specialist services provider delivering building maintenance, roofing, and access solutions across the UK. As a Roofers Mate, you will work with experienced roofers on reactive and planned maintenance across commercial sites, learning on the job and developing practical skills in a hands-on environment.

This role offers on-site work with opportunities for progression, paid overtime, and full kit provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in your work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work at height.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on reactive and planned roofing maintenance.
• Assist with cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing works.
• Support guttering repairs and replacements.
• Work safely at height on a daily basis.
• Complete on-site risk assessments and job reports using mobile devices.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
• Be flexible with start times, travel and occasional weekend work.
• Participate in an on-call rota when required.
• Continuously learning new skills and methods on site.
