Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Roofers Labourer to support solar installation projects. You will move and lift materials on pitched slate/tile roofs, assist the Electrician, and help maintain site safety.

The role offers a £30,000 basic salary with overtime, London weighting if you live within M25, a £2,500 annual bonus based on KPIs, a company vehicle and a £25 weekly lunch allowance, plus share options in Octopus Energy Group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Movement and lifting of materials as part of roofing tasks.
• Running cables/conduit and grinding tiles as required.
• Waste removal and assisting Electrician during solar installation.
