Job summary

Octopus Energy is expanding its Solar PV installation team across the UK and is seeking an experienced Roofer/Roofer's Mate to assist in installing Solar PV systems and supporting the Electrician on site.

You will handle movement of materials, work at height on slate or tile pitched roofs, ensure roofing safety practices, and help deliver high-quality, low-carbon home energy solutions with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician in Solar installation; movement & lifting of materials; running cables/conduit; grinding tiles; waste removal.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Roofer/Roofers mate to join our ever-growing Solar PV installation team across the UK!

Responsibilities

• Work includes but is not limited to; the movement & lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices
• Experience working at height

• £30,000 basic salary & overtime available (+ London weighting if living within M25)
