Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Roofers labourer to join the Solar PV installation team in the UK. You will assist the Electrician, move materials, run cables, and support safe roof works on slate/tile pitched roofs.

You'll need proven roofing labourer experience, ability to work at height, and knowledge of roofing materials and safety practices. The role offers a £30,000 base salary with overtime, an annual £2,500 bonus, a company vehicle and lunch allowance.

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate.
• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices.
• Experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician with Solar installation tasks.

What you\'ll do

• Work includes but is not limited to: the movement and lifting of materials, running cables/conduit, grinding tiles, waste removal and assisting the Electrician in Solar installation.

What you\'ll need

• Proven experience as a Roofers labourer/Roofers mate


• Experience working on slate/tile pitched roofs


• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques & safety practices


• Experience working at height

• £30,000 basic salary and overtime available (London weighting if living within M25)
