Job summary

Fortem is seeking an experienced Roofer to join the Amplius Social Housing team for responsive repairs across a large Northamptonshire to Leicestershire patch. You will handle slate, tile, pitched and flat roofing and related maintenance duties, including guttering and scaffold work.

Role requires PASMA, H&S/height certs, a full UK licence, and DBS clearance. Attractive benefits, van provided, and generous leave are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• PASMA trained; scaffold inspections experience preferred.
• H&S and working at height certificate or NVQ in roofing, or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence (max 5 points).
• DBS check (clearance) required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance and roof repairs across slate, tile, pitched and flat roofs.
• Repair and renew guttering, work on scaffolds, and carry out scaffold inspections.
• Ensure work meets high standards with minimal supervision and communicate follow-on works.
• Aim for first-time fix while staying within budget and time parameters.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines and stay updated on technical and legal requirements.
