Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Roofer within the Repairs and Maintenance Division to deliver high-quality roofing repairs for empty homes and tenanted properties. You will operate across a regional area (Preston) with possible travel to Head Office in Birchwood for meetings and training, contributing to a collaborative team that prioritises safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience in construction or housing maintenance.
Full UK driving license (ideally no more than 6 points).
Ability to repair slate, tile, stone, ridge, verge and lead work; EPDM rubber/flat roof experience desirable.
Basic health and safety knowledge in a repair environment.
Collaborative team player and a capable problem-solver.

Responsibilities

Carry out roofing maintenance on major and minor construction works for empty homes and tenanted properties.
Ensure all work is completed with due regard to quality, productivity and safety.
Deliver a bespoke service by understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations.
