Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Roofer for a six-month temporary placement with a day-time work vehicle provided. Based in Atherstone, you will support the council’s in-house maintenance team, handling roof repairs, tile replacement, chimney work, led flashing, and general building tasks.

Ideal applicants will have strong roofing experience, bricklaying/slabbing skills, and the ability to work across a varied range of repairs. Reliable transport to the depot is required.

Job description

Enjoy a six-month temporary role with a work vehicle provided during the day, working for an established local authority in the Atherstone area.
You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months.
You’ll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.
I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Roofer, Roofing Operative, Multi Trade Operative or General Builder with strong roofing experience.
As a Roofer you will be:

• Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
• Rebuilding and repairing chimneys
• Completing lead flashing repairs
• Repairing and replacing ridge tiles
• Carrying out general roofing repairs
• Completing bricklaying and slabbing work when required

Location & travel
