Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Roofer for a six-month temporary assignment with a day-time work vehicle in the Atherstone area, supporting an established local authority.

You will perform roofing, brickwork and external repairs while assisting the in-house maintenance team and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in general roofing repairs.
• Bricklaying and slabbing experience.
• Ability to work across a varied range of repairs.
• Reliability to travel independently to the council depot.

About the role

Enjoy a six-month temporary role with a work vehicle provided during the day, working for an established local authority in the Atherstone area. This Roofer role offers consistent work across a varied range of roofing, brickwork and external repair jobs.

You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months. You'll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.

Responsibilities

• Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
• Rebuilding and repairing chimneys
• Completing lead flashing repairs
• Repairing and replacing ridge tiles
• Carrying out general roofing repairs
• Completing bricklaying and slabbing work when required

• Reliable transport to travel independently to the council depot

Location & Travel
