Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting for a Roofer to support a local authority’s maintenance team in the Atherstone area for six months. The role involves repairing roofs, bricklaying, and other general building tasks, with a work vehicle provided for daytime duties. You should have strong roofing experience and be able to travel to the council depot.

Work will include replacing tiles, chimney repairs, lead flashing, ridge tiles, and broader roofing works, with bricklaying and slab work where needed.

Enjoy a six-month temporary role with a work vehicle provided during the day, working for an established local authority in the Atherstone area.
You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months.
You’ll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.
I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Roofer, Roofing Operative, Multi Trade Operative or General Builder with strong roofing experience.
As a Roofer you will be:

• Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
• Rebuilding and repairing chimneys

• Carrying out general roofing repairs
