Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking an experienced Roofer to join the Property Team in our Isle of Wight office. You will perform roofing repairs and maintenance on our homes, with a company van and fuel card supplied for travel.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with potential for overtime and call-out work. NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or 5 years’ experience is preferred, along with a strong health and safety mindset and good customer service skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent OR 5 years trade experience.
• Experience working in occupied premises and strong customer service.
• Ability to use mobile technology (iPad/PDA).
• Strong health and safety mindset and practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete roofing repairs and maintenance packages for SNG homes and other sites.
• Handle pitched roofing systems, lead valleys, flashings and box gutters.
• Perform full roof coverings renewal and install/replace guttering.

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join our Property Team in our Isle of Wight office. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road we'll provide you with a business use van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.

What you'll be doing:

• You’ll complete Roofing repairs and maintenance packages to SNG's homes and elsewhere as per requirements and be fully competent in all aspects of roofing including:
• Pitched roofing systems
• Lead valleys
• Flashings
• Box Gutters
• Full roof covering renewal
• Install and replace guttering

What you'll need:

• You should have a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Roofing or equivalent OR a minimum of 5 years trade experience.
• You will have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills.
• The ability to use mobile technology such as iPad or PDA is essential.
• Have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call out and overtime when required.
• Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van.
