Qualifications

• Experience as a Roofer in a maintenance or construction environment.
• Good knowledge of roofing repairs, maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience on residential or social housing properties preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance across social housing and residential properties.
• Identify and repair roof leaks, damaged tiles, slates and other defects.
• Undertake repairs to flat and pitched roofs where required.
• Repair and replace roof coverings, flashing, guttering and associated components.
• Investigate roofing issues and identify the cause of leaks and water ingress.
• Carry out general roof maintenance to prevent further damage.
• Ensure all work meets high standards and health and safety requirements.
• Work professionally within occupied properties and communicate with residents.
• Complete job sheets and report additional repairs identified.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas safely and tidily.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established property maintenance team working across social housing properties in Kingston and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Roofer with experience in repairs, maintenance and roofing works within residential properties. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of roofing repairs and maintenance, ensuring properties remain safe, secure and watertight.

The successful candidate will take pride in their workmanship, deliver excellent customer service and complete jobs to a high standard while working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance across social housing and residential properties.
