Job summary

Marstep Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Roofer (Tiles, Slates & Flat Roofing) to join a trusted local roofing team in Cheshire. The role covers new installations, re-roofs, and repairs across residential properties with occasional commercial work.

You will work on pitched and flat roofs, with a focus on high workmanship standards, safety, and reliability. Permanent role offering holidays, holiday pay, pension, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pitch roofing (tiles & slates essential).
• Experience with flat roofing.
• Strong repair and maintenance knowledge.
• Confident working at height.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and a solid team player.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace roof tiles and slates.
• Diagnose leaks and carry out repair work.
• Repair and renew ridges, hips, valleys and flashing.
• Strip and re-cover pitched roofs.
• Repair and install flat roofs.
• Work safely and professionally at all times.
• Keep the site tidy and presentable.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Roofer who knows their way around tiled, slated roofs and flat roofs. You'll work on a mix of residential properties (plus the odd commercial job), handling new installations, re-roofs, and repair work to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing and replacing roof tiles and slates
• Diagnosing leaks and carrying out repair work
• Repairing and renewing ridges, hips, valleys, and flashing
• Stripping and re-covering pitched roofs
• Repairing and installing flat roofs
• Working safely and professionally at all times
• Keeping the site tidy and presentable
