Job summary

ARV Solutions Contracts is seeking a Roof Truss Designer in Birmingham to support detailed timber roof truss solutions. The role requires producing accurate, buildable designs that meet client requirements and UK regulations.

You will use CAD software to create technical drawings, liaise with internal teams and customers, and assist in estimating through material take-offs and cost inputs. The ideal candidate has around three years' experience in roof truss design and a good grasp of timber

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in roof truss design.
• Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawing.
• Strong understanding of timber engineering principles and roof structures.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations relating to structural design.

Responsibilities

A specialist construction and manufacturing business is seeking a Roof Truss Designer to support the design and delivery of timber roof truss solutions. This role exists to strengthen the technical design function and assist in producing accurate, buildable designs that meet client requirements. It would suit someone with around three years' experience in roof truss design who is looking to further develop their technical capability, including exposure to estimating.

As a Roof Truss Designer you will:
